Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Children’s Duty and Assessment Team in Shropshire. This role involves undertaking frontline statutory work to safeguard and support children and families.
Key Responsibilities- Completing Single Assessments (SWA) Undertaking Section 47 investigations
- Preparing reports for Section 7 and Section 37
- Completing initial Child in Need (CIN) plans
- Attending and contributing to Child Protection Core Groups
- Preparing court statements and care plans where an initial court hearing is required
- Working collaboratively with partner agencies to safeguard children
- Your own dedicated specialist consultant
