Assistant Night Manager

We have an opportunity for you to join the Nights Team as an Assistant Night Manager. We want you to be part of a great and diverse team working together to serve our guests as they enter and leave the building, following our high standards to provide our guests with a great experience and keeping them safe whilst on the premises.

• Supervisory experience or a strong front‑office or nights team member in a hotel.
• Great communication skills – welcome guests and offer a friendly departure.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends.
• Ability to recognise what customers want and need.
• Good people skills – work well in a team and create a fun environment.
• Genuine interest in serving customers, especially during night hours.
• Confidence with systems and taking payments, including completing the night audit and balancing the day’s business.
• Organised, able to work well under pressure, multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Prompt resolution of customer complaints.
• Can work alone or with a limited small team.
• Responsible and trustworthy, ensuring the safety of all guests, themselves and the team.

• Supervise the activities of the Night Crew, ensuring they are aware of their responsibilities and performing duties to a high standard.
• Be familiar with the business, including arrivals, departures and special requests.
• Respond to all customer requests and queries promptly, keeping all areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Follow company standards and procedures for guest arrivals and departures.
• Deal with guest complaints in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
• Train and motivate colleagues.
• Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out.
• Follow night audit procedures and generate relevant reports for each department.
• Run the relevant back‑up.
• Ensure all guests are safe and comfortable.
