Overview

At The Chancery Rosewood, we are redefining luxury hospitality in London. Housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, redesigned by Sir David Chipperfield, our hotel features 144 suites by Joseph Dirand alongside an array of dining and entertainment spaces. We are seeking passionate individuals who will continue to bring our philosophy of Relationship Hospitality to life.

As a Guest Relations Rooms Controller, you will be at the heart of the guest journey, ensuring every arrival, stay, and departure is seamless. From preparing suites in advance and welcoming VIPs to coordinating with Housekeeping, In-Room Dining, and Butlers, you’ll create an environment where guests feel recognised, cared for, and r warmth, intuition, and attention to detail will embody the service excellence that defines Rosewood.

Responsibilities
  • Assign rooms and suites based on guest preferences and special requests.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and In-Room Dining to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
  • Prepare and pre-register Special Attention Guests, VIPs, and group arrivals.
  • Manage check-ins, room changes, extensions, and late check-outs.
  • Confirm reservations, process cancellations, and monitor room status daily.
  • Secure valid payments, verify billing, and maintain accurate records.
  • Handle guest requests, resolve concerns, and deliver amenities with efficiency.
  • Maintain full knowledge of hotel services, promotions, packages, and VIP activity.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to ensure flawless guest experiences.
About You
  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality or guest relations.
  • Refined, intuitive, and engaging with exceptional communication skills.
  • Confident in handling guest requests with discretion and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with Opera or similar PMS systems is an advantage.
