Head of Kitchen Operations - Everyman Cinema
At Everyman, we redefine the cinema experience by bringing together luxury cinema and elevated hospitality, offering premium dining, curated drinks and seamless in seat service. Our back of house operation is central to delivering our guest experience, ensuring quality, consistency and precision within a film timed service model.
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Kitchen Operations to lead our kitchen operations nationwide. This is a leadership role with responsibility for performance and standards across 49 venues, ensuring our food offering continues to enhance and elevate the Everyman experience.
What You’ll be Response For:Quality, Standards & Guest Experience
- Drive food quality, presentation standards and service timing aligned with film schedules
- Optimise production flow to support peak showtimes and high-volume trading periods
- Ensure adherence to Food Safety, HACCP and compliance standards
- Manage food and labour cost targets to maximise profitability
- Implement and refine procedures to support multi-revenue hospitality streams (dining, lounge, bar, events)
- Support supplier relationships and procurement strategy
- Provide strategic leadership to back of house operations
- Create environments of accountability, collaboration and operational excellence
- Work in close partnership with front of house leadership to deliver seamless, integrated guest experiences
- Research and apply emerging food trends relevant to cinema and hospitality
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Operations to launch new food concepts and promotional initiatives
- Support operational rollouts
You are an experienced senior kitchen leader with a track record of operating at scale within a premium hospitality environment. You combine operational discipline with strong people leadership and understand how to balance quality, consistency and performance in guest-facing environments.
You will bring:- A minimum of three years’ experience within a multi-site hospitality environment
- Proven experience leading and developing back of house teams
- Strong financial awareness, including food and labour cost management
- In depth knowledge of food safety legislation and compliance
- Experience in menu development for large scale food operations
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Flexibility to travel regularly between venues
- Experience with in high volume, fast paced environments such as leisure, retail or entertainment is desirable, as is culinary training or equivalent experience and exposure to guest led menu innovation.
