Overview
Searcys are looking for a Hospitality Assistant to join the team at RICS
. As a Hospitality Assistant, you will be responsible for providing service excellence to our customers, guests and clients at events and conferences.

The Hospitality Assistant will support, monitor and serve all food and drinks to customers/clients/guest and clear throughout the event.
Job Type0 hours contract
Salary£13.15 hourly
Responsibilities- Ensure clean furniture, dining tables and chairs are available for guests and that presentation is a priority.
- Clean and polish all cutlery and glasses/crockery for the next event.
- Prepare all hospitality food and beverage requests for customers/clients/guests in designated meeting spaces in a presentable manner.
- Work without supervision and take initiative over duties and tasks.
- Serve guests with a genuine and positive demeanour; ensure service is efficient and of high quality.
- Work on licensed bars serving alcoholic beverages.
- Operate coffee machines.
- Assist with ordering and deliveries as required.
- Prepare hospitality requirements ensuring items are available and report shortages to your line manager.
- Ensure any linen or equipment hired for an event is counted and packed away for collection after the event.
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or a guest-facing role is an advantage but not essential
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Willingness to work flexible hours
- Ability to handle feedback to achieve member satisfaction
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and moving furniture and stock
