As a Reservations Agent, you will play a key role in shaping the first stage of the guest journey, delivering a seamless and personalised booking experience that reflects the elegance and standards of the St. Regis brand. Acting as a primary point of contact, you will manage reservations with precision, professionalism and a strong focus on guest satisfaction, ensuring every interaction is handled with care and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all reservation requests, changes and cancellations accurately and efficiently
  • Identify guest needs and recommend appropriate room types, rates and packages
  • Verify room availability and confirm bookings in line with hotel policies
  • Explain booking conditions, including guarantees, special rates and cancellation policies clearly
  • Record and accommodate guest preferences and special requests wherever possible
  • Provide detailed information about hotel facilities, services and room features
  • Maximise revenue through effective selling techniques and upselling opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records within the reservation system, ensuring all data is up to date
  • Apply correct codes and rates for special reservations, including corporate, travel agent and promotional bookings
  • Handle guest enquiries and concerns professionally, following escalation procedures when required
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Sales and other departments to support a seamless guest experience
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and adhere to company policies and procedures
Core Competencies
  • Previous experience in reservations, Front Office or guest services, ideally within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of reservation processes, systems and revenue optimisation
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills, with a polished and professional approach
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings and guest information
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑standards environment
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • A proactive and service‑driven mindset, anticipating guest needs and preferences
  • Confidence in using computer systems and reservation platforms
  • Impeccable personal presentation aligned with luxury brand standards
  • A collaborative approach, working closely with multiple departments to ensure guest satisfaction
