Overview
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team, leading the delivery of exceptional live events.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement detailed logistics plans for transportation, storage and set up of hospitality equipment at racetracks and testing sites.
- Work with suppliers, shipping providers and customs to manage international transport of equipment and other necessary materials.
- Manage all packing and load lists, ensuring they are maintained correctly throughout the season and filed with the correct agencies on time.
- Ensure all catering equipment is properly maintained, stored and transported to prevent loss and damage.
- Ensure all logistics operations comply with local and international health and safety, food safety, equipment handling and transport standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols for the setup and breakdown of catering facilities, minimizing the risk of accidents.
- Assist with the procurement of light and heavy catering equipment for transport to all events and use across the catering operation.
- Order and control stock of all disposable items for the hospitality operation, implementing inventory control to track usage and minimize wastage.
- Store all catering equipment correctly during the off‑season and perform all essential electrical and safety tests.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost‑saving measures without compromising service.
- Onsite, oversee the setup and breakdown of fully functioning catering facilities including mobile kitchens, dining areas and VIP hospitality spaces.
- Manage onsite logistics during race weekends and other events, ensuring all resources are available and troubleshooting as necessary to minimize disruption.
- Work with the Head Chef and Trackside Manager to forecast and order necessary supplies based on event needs.
- Coordinate with local and international suppliers to secure high‑quality ingredients, equipment and services.
- Document each venue's full setup with photographs to support future improvements.
- Collaborate with the event management team to ensure seamless integration of catering services into the overall event plan.
- Highly experienced Logistics Manager with a background in fast‑paced environments, ideally within hospitality or live events; F1 experience is a strong advantage.
- Proven expertise in international logistics and event operations, with a track record of successfully managing complex, multi‑layered projects.
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Calm and solution‑focused under pressure, with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
- Confident communicator, able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest operational standards.
- A true team player with a proactive, “can do, will do” attitude and a drive to deliver results.
