Overview
An amazing opportunity to join the M & E Operations Team at The May Fair Hotel. As a Meetings and Events Waiter you will be responsible for ensuring smooth service for the event/tables you are allocated to. You will ensure that guests are served quickly and efficiently and that if serving a banquet, plats are laid down elegantly in front of guests.
You will ensure that private functions are set up professionally and that all food is presented as per brand standards. You will ensure that tables are cleared promptly for the next course if applicable and that the tables you are responsible for are kept tidy. You will listen to any feedback or complaints received from guests and pass this on to the relevant person.
You
- Previous experience of working in meetings and events operations ideally within a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
- An impeccable command of English both written and spoken.
- Understands the value of teamwork and works well with others.
- 28 days Holiday per annum including Bank Holidays increasing with long service
