SHIFT PATTERN (40 hours, 5 days per week)

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London within the F&B Division the Head Bartender is responsible in ensuring complete guest satisfaction during their experience at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London by providing great knowledge of beverage services in order to both meet and exceed our guests & residents expectations.

As a Head Bartender at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for:

  • Training and coaching other bar staff on beverage preparation, recipes and standards.
To develop a strong relationship with suppliers and brand ambassador.

To understand and operate the POS system and coach other team members.

To supervise the production sequence of all beverage products and bar sequence of service.

To train and coach other bartenders on the beverage preparation.

Beverage training for FOH and Bar personal.

To maintain the appropriate level of beverage stock

  • To supervise the production sequence of all beverage products and bar sequence of service.
To attend the pre-service briefings ensuring that tasks are followed-up efficiently prior to guest’s arrival.

To develop and maintain contemporary cocktail list including spirits and beers offering in line with Beverage Manager.

As a Head
** Bartender,
** you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 40 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
