bit about what you will do…

Rooms Controllers in our team lead by example and support and enable our receptionist to provide our guests with excellent service throughout their stay.

  • Responsible for a smooth flow of the Rooms Controller day-to-day operations by ensuring allthetasks are proactively completed and executed.
  • Assist the FOH departmental managers in administrative work and strive for the achievement of departmental goals
  • Ensure that Marriott Brand Standards are correctly applied
  • Deal withcrewqueries and maintain an accurate record of all correspondence
  • Main point of contact for all crew bookings. Management of these,assigning and allocating rooms, updating sign in sheets and information.
  • Manage crew PM rooms, ensuring these are billed correctly and on time.
  • Plan ahead to make sure all groups and crew rooms are allocated correctly as to their requirements.
  • Ensure follow up ofcrewno-shows charges, chargebacks and outstanding payments
  • Be a pro-active member of the Front Office team, supporting the front of house team when required, checking in guests and crew, answering questions and queries from guests
