Responsibilities
- General cleaning of the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- Removing kitchen waste and disposing of it properly.
- Completing the weekly cleaning schedule.
- Washing dishes such as cutlery, pots, cutting boards and pans by hand.
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Cleaning cooking equipment such as cookers and food mixers.
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling and cutting ingredients).
- Providing assistance to all kitchen staff as needed.
- Excellent time‑management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Level1 Food Safety Award (training provided).
- Awareness of manual‑handling techniques (training provided).
- Awareness of COSHH and chemical safety regulations (training provided).
- Commitment to continual improvement of knowledge and abilities.
- Passion for hospitality and creating outstanding experiences.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Honesty and strong moral principles.
- Proactive initiative, calm problem solving and resilience under pressure.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Competitive base salary of £13.07 per hour; overall hourly range £15.17‑£16.67.
