Casual Spa Concierge, Spa & Wellness

We’re looking for a Casual Spa Concierge to join our Spa & Wellness team at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.

As a Casual Spa Concierge, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa & Wellness.
  • Providing a warm, friendly welcome to all guests at all times; greeting guests upon arrival, offering new guests tours of the property and providing re‑orientations for return guests.
  • Organising appointment scheduling to maximise utilisation of time and profitability while prioritising guests’ needs.
  • Courteously interacting and answering all Spa and hotel related questions with guests.
  • Completing all daily reception duties as trained by the Spa & Wellness Manager, Spa Reception and Reservations Manager; creating and reviewing SOPs as assigned and ensuring they are followed at all times.

In this role you will work on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week, with shift patterns varying from morning and afternoon shifts (including weekends and bank holidays). Flexibility is required where applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with in a luxury Spa environment or hotel reception; hospitality experience in a 5‑star environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Passion for service and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Strong understanding of systems and IT technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong team player with organisational and time‑management abilities.
