Public Area Attendant – Flexi Hours

Schedule:

Available working hours will vary each week and can range anywhere from 0 to 40 hours.

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across all public areas, ensuring a welcoming and polished environment for guests and colleagues at all times.
• Carry out routine and deep cleaning tasks in lobbies, corridors, restrooms, meeting spaces and back‑of‑house areas, addressing issues proactively and efficiently.
• Monitor the condition of public‑area furnishings, fixtures and equipment, reporting maintenance needs promptly to support a safe and well‑maintained hotel environment.
• Support guest experience by responding to public‑area cleaning requests and ensuring all spaces remain tidy, stocked and ready for use throughout the day.
• Uphold hotel policies by correctly handling lost property, following health and safety procedures and maintaining compliance with fire and security standards.
• Ensure all cleaning tools, machinery and supplies are used safely, stored correctly and kept in good working order.
• Collaborate with other departments, including F&B and Guest Services, to maintain shared spaces and contribute to a seamless guest journey.
• Assist with special cleaning projects, seasonal tasks or operational needs such as linen support, ensuring flexibility and teamwork across the department.

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Public Area Attendant with a strong commitment to maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards across all guest‑facing and back‑of‑house spaces. Previous experience in a similar role, particularly within a hotel or hospitality environment, is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will take pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere, work efficiently across a variety of public areas, and collaborate confidently with other departments to support a seamless and personalised guest experience throughout the hotel.
