Food & Beverage Assistant

As a Food & Beverage Steward at Britannic Explorer, a Belmond Train, you are part of a team responsible for providing an exceptional food and beverage service to all our guests. In this role, you will ensure that all areas are well maintained, carry out back-of-house duties and provide outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Include:

• This is a seasonal role which runs from May to December in 2026.
• Providing breakfast, lunch and dinner service each day and carrying out cleaning, mise en place, washing up and maintenance duties.
• Service of pre-lunch and dinner drinks and canapés, afternoon tea and welcome back drinks.
• Preparing tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
• Informing guests about the days specials and offering menu recommendations on request.
• Assisting with general onboard duties, such as greeting guests, helping with luggage and supporting operational departments.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Applicants must have eligibility to work in the UK.
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.
