Be at the heart of England's biggest football occasions

The FA is excited to be searching for a Hospitality and Protocol Assistant on a fixed-term contract for up to 9 months. In this role, you will support the Hospitality and Protocol team in the effective operational delivery and administrative coordination of all FA events, both at Wembley Stadium and on the road.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide administrative and operational support for all FA events, including England senior men's and women's, men's U21S, and domestic cup competitions, ensuring areas achieve the required high standards.
  • Supporting the Hospitality & Protocol team with pre-event set-ups, briefing documentation and liaison with FA and Wembley teams, host venues, stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Support with issuing invitations, maintaining guest lists, and managing inbox enquiries and requests from various stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support event day operations including ticketing, staffing, parking, branding, and catering.
  • Support on the planning and delivery of our partner hospitality lounges (FA Lounge and FA Club areas) for FA games played at Wembley, and on the road.
  • Support the Hospitality & Protocol team with Royal Box seating, dining, and the Hospitality lounge set-ups.
  • Support in any pre- and post-match presentations and gift exchanges.
  • Order gifts and event day collateral, whilst monitoring and maintaining inventory.
  • Raise invoice requests, purchase orders and liaise with suppliers and contractors regarding invoicing.
  • Executes additional tasks as required to meet the FA's changing priorities.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure that the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being can be maintained.
  • As part of the FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.
What are we looking for?

Essential for the role:
  • Administration and coordination experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working in a hospitality or client-facing role.
  • Ability to remain professional and discreet.
  • Highly detail‑oriented with strong accuracy skills.
  • Strong capability to prioritise and balance work across a range of games simultaneously.
Beneficial to have:
  • Understanding of Workday.
  • Experience of working in sports events.
  • Experience of working with VIPs.
  • Forward-thinking with a strong focus on processes and efficiency.
  • Ability to work autonomously and provide innovative and creative ideas.
