An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Catering Manager to join one of London's most prestigious corporate catering operations.
Supporting the Catering Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering catering services across a prestigious 5buildings, serving around 1,500 customers daily through Retail, Café & Grab & Go, Hospitality, VIP Dining and Events. Leading a team of 20-25, you'll help deliver exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the highest operational standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a professional, detail-driven environment where discretion, precision and an understanding of formal service standards are essential. You'll build strong client relationships while embracing the culture and values of this high-profile organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Support the day-to-day management of catering operations, overseeing the Retail, Café & Grab & Go, Hospitality, VIP Dining and Event services.
- Coordinate the visitor journey, working closely with Catering, Guest Services, Facilities, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless operational delivery.
- Plan & manage the logistic service delivery across multiple locations.
- Support the planning and delivery of VIP hospitality and high-profile events.
- Lead by example, motivate the team & drive continuous improvement.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Catering Manager or Catering Manager within B&I Contract Catering.
- Proven experience managing a catering operation, with strong operational knowledge across Retail, Hospitality and Events.
- Experience with in a multi-site or complex environment is highly desirable.
- An engaging leader with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to build strong relationships.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, developing teams and continuously improving standards.
Applicants must have lived in the UK for at least five years, have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for BPSS clearance.
