The
Job Role Event & Sales Manager to oversee a busy corporate events and hospitality operation within a prestigious London venue.
To manage and support a team of 2 Event Coordinators across a varied calendar of internal and external events.
To coordinate and manage multiple meeting spaces ranging from small meetings through to large-scale seated events and receptions.
To lead client communication, venue show rounds and event planning from enquiry through to delivery.
To manage a high-volume inbox and large amounts of event administration, paperwork and reporting.
To oversee venue bookings, event forms, client databases and cloud-based booking systems.
To support the growth of sales, profitability and client relationships across the venue.
To work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experience and operational standards.
To support upselling opportunities and maximise revenue across hospitality and event bookings.
The Requirements Previous experience within Events Management, Venue Sales or Hospitality Sales.
Experience working within a hotel, corporate venue, hospitality venue or unique events space.
Strong administration and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience managing client relationships and coordinating events from enquiry through to execution.
Confident managing busy inboxes, event paperwork and booking systems.
A highly organised and proactive individual with excellent communication skills.
Previous experience within heritage venues, unique venues or premium hospitality environments would be highly advantageous.
The successful Event & Sales Manager will be commercially aware, client-focused and highly detail-oriented.
