Banqueting Front & Back of House Porter

Job Purpose

Under the direction of the Head of Events Operations and their Deputy, the Banqueting Front & Back of House Kitchen Porter will provide essential operational support to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of banqueting and event services. The postholder will maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, organisation, and presentation across kitchen and event areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the set-up, service, and clearance of banqueting and event spaces.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation in kitchen and event areas.
• Wash, clean, store, and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Receive, move, and assist with the safe handling of deliveries, food, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure kitchen and event areas are appropriately stocked and ready for service.
• Transport food, equipment, furniture, and other items as required.
• Work collaboratively with event staff, supervisors, chefs, and the management team to support the smooth delivery of events.
