Restaurant Host​/hostess

Clos Maggiore is looking for a warm, professional and experienced Host to join our front-of-house team in the heart of Covent Garden.

Frequently recognised as one of Londons most romantic restaurants, Clos Maggiore is known for warm hospitality, elegant surroundings and attentive, personalised service. As Host, you will play an important part in creating that experience from the moment our guests arrive.

Working alongside the Matre d and restaurant management team, you will help manage the restaurant's reception and ensure every guest receives a polished and welcoming experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and greeting guests in a warm and professional manner
• Managing guest arrivals and seating guests efficiently
• Supporting the Matre d with the daily reservation diary, table plan and seating
• Checking reservations, guest notes, dietary requirements and special requests ahead of service
• Recognising regular guests, VIPs and special occasions
• Ensuring guest profiles and reservation notes are accurate and updated
• Answering guest queries and assisting with reservation enquiries
• Communicating table status and guest requirements with the management and floor teams
• Welcoming Private Dining Room guests and larger parties and ensuring a smooth arrival experience
