Urban Pubs, Bars and Restaurants are currently recruiting for a talented and highly skilled General Manager with personality & charisma for our expanding group. Standing proud at the corner of Exmouth Market is the Exmouth Arms, an iconic two story pub filled with charm and beauty. Loved by the community the Exmouth is well known for its great service, phenomenal gastro pub dishes and bespoke cocktails. We guarantee a warm welcome and an abundance of good vibes, 7 days a week.
The Role- As GM you will take full ownership of all aspects of running the venue. You will be given autonomy and run the site as if it were your own business.
- Being business savvy and demonstrating great commercial acumen is a must.
- Your team will look up to you, it's essential to train, nurture and develop your staff to maintain incredibly high standards and customer satisfaction.
- You have impeccable floor, bar and late night experience knowledge as well as late night experience.
- You will be given the opportunity to train, personally develop and progress your career as the company continues to grow.
- Wear your heart on your sleave, take ownership, be bold and run the business as if it's your own
- Be cool, calm and collected, manage pressure with ease, nothing can phase you
- Must have minimum 2 years' experience as a general manager depending on the property being looked at
- Solid communication and organisational skills, be approachable
- Excellent all-round business knowledge from financials to customer satisfaction
- Passionate about people, training, mentoring, growing a team but most importantly, loves to have fun
- Personal License holder beneficial
