We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to become a valued member of our outstanding Banqueting Kitchen team
at Pan Pacific London.

As a Junior Sous Chef in the Banqueting Kitchen, you will support the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chefs in delivering exceptional culinary experiences across conferences, weddings, private dining and other events. You will assist with the day-to-day organisation and operation of the Banqueting Kitchen, ensuring all food is prepared and presented to the highest luxury hotel standards. You will play an important role in supervising the kitchen brigade, maintaining smooth service and ensuring every event is delivered with precision, consistency and attention to detail.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Supporting the planning, preparation and execution of food for conferences, weddings, private events and large-scale functions.
• Supervising and coordinating kitchen team members during preparation and service to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.
• Ensuring all dishes are prepared, cooked and presented consistently to the highest quality and luxury hotel standards.
• Maintaining excellent mise en place and organisation to support seamless event operations.
• Supporting the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef with daily kitchen operations, service planning and staffing requirements.
• Training, coaching and supporting junior chefs, promoting teamwork and professional development.
• Monitoring food quality, portion control, stock rotation and wastage in line with departmental and financial targets.
• Maintaining the highest standards of food hygiene, allergen control, HACCP, health and safety and cleanliness.
• Working closely with the Meetings & Events and Front of House teams to ensure clear communication and flawless event delivery.
• Supporting menu development and contributing ideas for new dishes and seasonal offerings.
• Leading by example and consistently demonstrating professionalism, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Ensuring all equipment is used safely and correctly and reporting any maintenance or operational issues promptly.
• Maintain kitchen organisation, hygiene, and food safety in line with brand and statutory requirements
