HOSPITALITY ASSISTANT
Houston & Hawkes | London | £15.23 per hour | 40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Refined hospitality, exceptional service and the opportunity to join a prestigious London client site.Houston & Hawkes is looking for an experienced Hospitality Assistant to join a high-performing front‑of‑house team. This is a polished, guest‑facing role supporting meeting rooms, corporate hospitality, fine dining service and events, with a real focus on detail, presentation and seamless service.
THE ROLE- Prepare meeting rooms, dining spaces and hospitality areas to an exceptional standard
- Deliver polished food and beverage service for meetings, fine dining lunches and corporate events
- Provide attentive, professional service to clients and guests throughout the day
- Refresh, clear and reset rooms efficiently between bookings
- Support event set‑up, service and breakdown
- Maintain immaculate service areas, crockery, glassware and equipment
- Work closely with the kitchen and wider hospitality team to ensure every service runs seamlessly
- Maintain excellent food safety, allergen, hygiene and health and safety standards
- Previous experience in high‑quality hospitality or front of house
- Experience with in premium contract catering, corporate hospitality, fine dining or a five‑star hotel would be highly desirable
- Excellent service standards and strong attention to detail
- A polished, confident and professional approach
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- The ability to remain organised and composed in a busy environment
- A positive attitude and genuine pride in delivering exceptional hospitality
