We are looking for a self-motivated, proactive and passionate People & Culture Manager to join our Truly Talented team at The Shepherd Mayfair.

The Role

The People & Culture Manager role will take the lead and provide comprehensive and confidential People & Culture support, contributing to our business goals whilst developing and maintaining positive relationships.

The role provides consistently high standard support, both administrative and non-administrative to the People department, actively driving our goal of becoming an employer of choice.

The role will report to General Manager. Building a strong relationship with the stakeholders, managers, and all colleagues will be essential.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and experience in HR, People operations or in a similar role. Be able to multitask, whilst being an organised, competent and resourceful individual with a passion for People development.

The ideal candidate must have exceptionally strong communication, analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills with a strategic mindset.

This role will be responsible for all aspects of the People & Culture function, including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing recruitment, selection and employee onboarding;
  • Managing a performance management system/process;
  • Ensuring the company's procedures comply with local employment laws;
  • Handling all aspects of employee relations;
  • Managing employee sick leave, holiday and personal time off;
  • Managing monthly payroll, ensuring labour costs are in line with budget;
  • Manage day-to-day People function effectively and efficiently;
