General Manager “Private Members’ Golf Club”Location West London Salary £58k–£63k + tronc + KPI bonus

Do you Love golf, hospitality and the occasional spreadsheet that actually matters?

I am working with a premium private members’ club opening in West London, This is the start of the journey and am looking for a hands-on leader to own the operation, member experience and commercial performance from presales to opening. You’ll work closely with the founders and lead a hospitality team of around six, supported by Front of House.

Your responsibilities

Own the day-to-day operation and site P&L.Build and manage budgets, forecasts and weekly trading reports.

Drive membership growth, retention, events and corporate revenue.

Manage the member journey, from enquiry through to long-term engagement.

Recruit, train, coach and motivate the hospitality team.

Create rotas, oversee payroll and manage team performance.

Lead the pre-opening plan, staff training and November launch.

Oversee suppliers, stock control, purchasing and ordering.

Manage booking, EPOS, payment and membership systems.

Maintain food safety, HACCP, licensing and health and safety standards.

Develop strong relationships with members, corporate clients and event partners.

Ensure the club is always presentation-ready and delivering five-star service.

Identify new commercial opportunities across coaching, events, club fitting and private hire.

You’ll need premium hospitality, leisure or members’ club experience, strong commercial instincts and the confidence to lead from the front—not from behind a laptop. Golf knowledge is welcome. Great leadership and hospitality are essential.
