Luggage Porter

This temporary Day Luggage Porter role in Central London suits someone friendly and dependable, supporting a hotel team throughout daytime hours. Duties include welcoming guests, carrying bags to rooms, collecting items on departure, and storing luggage securely. The porter also helps the Front Office with requests, keeps the lobby, entrance and storage areas tidy, and delivers courteous service at all times.

Applicants should have prior hospitality or customer service experience. Pay is £14.50 hourly, with holiday pay included, and shifts fall during the day. Strong communication, a smart appearance and physical stamina matter, since lifting bags is routine.

• Welcome guests and assist with luggage.
• Deliver luggage to guest rooms and collect luggage when required.
• Assist with arrivals, departures and guest requests.
• Store and organise guest luggage safely.
• Support the Front Office team with general duties.
• Keep the lobby, entrance and luggage areas clean and organised.
• Provide friendly and professional service to all guests.

• Previous hotel, hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, professional and reliable approach.
• Good spoken English.
• Physically able to handle luggage safely.
• Good attention to detail and presentation.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
