Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 2:30pm

Term time only – 40.4 working weeks per year

We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join a friendly school kitchen in Mill Hill. This is a great opportunity for someone local who is looking for a regular part-time role with excellent working hours.

You will work as part of the school catering team, supporting the chef and helping to ensure a smooth and friendly lunchtime service.

• Serving students and customers during lunchtime service
• Assisting the chef with basic food preparation
• Helping with setting up and clearing down
• Washing up and maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen
• General cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Supporting the wider catering team as required

• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality environment is preferred
• Friendly, reliable and hardworking
• Comfortable working as part of a small team
• Good standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Positive attitude and willingness to help
• DBS check will be required
