Position: Account Director / Senior Account Director

Our client is an award-winning independent consultancy who are looking for an Account Director or Senior Account Director to join their 30+ strong team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a senior member of a notable public affairs team, with the opportunity to lead accounts, shape the team and advise senior clients across a host of sectors.

This public affairs team advises some of the biggest global brands on UK political and policy issues – working as advisers to become an extended part of some in-house teams. They operate across Technology, Food & Drink, Energy, FS, and a host of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop close relationships with senior clients and be responsible for leading client meetings, having developed and shaped effective political strategies.
  • Supervise delivery of client work on multiple accounts.
  • Lead new business processes – supporting on marketing and pitches.
  • Provide strategic public affairs advice to clients and work on developing a policy specialism.
    • Key Requirements:
  • Prior public affairs experience, ideally within an agency but open to in-house.
  • Excellent knowledge of and passionate about UK politics and its broader implications on UK markets and business.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, collaboration skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • An existing network of either political contacts, business, or broader policy contacts.
