Position: Senior Ecologist - Progression to Principal
Location: Greater London

We're looking for an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious ecologist with 5+ years consultancy experience who is ready to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway to Principal Ecologist.

About You

5+ years professional ecology consultancy experience
Full Member of CIEEM (MCIEEM)
Level 2 Bat Survey Licence (essential)
Great Crested Newt (GCN) licence (desirable)
Experience with UKHab surveys, Biodiversity Net Gain assessments and habitat condition assessments would be advantageous
Experience managing ecological surveys, assessments and reporting
Strong project management and client communication skills
The ability to work independently while mentoring junior team members
A full UK driving licence

The Role

Leading ecological surveys and fieldwork
Producing high-quality technical reports
Managing projects from quotation through to delivery
Supporting planning and development projects across a variety of sectors
Providing technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues
Building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Supporting the continued growth and development of the ecology team
