Senior Consultant – Nature, Ecology & Biodiversity | London

MNRecruit is delighted to be helping hire a Senior Consultant – Nature, Ecology & Biodiversity for a growing consultancy in London.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced ecology professional looking to take on meaningful work across biodiversity, nature and development projects, while playing an important role within a growing team.

The role includes:

Leading ecology and biodiversity projects
PEAs, BNG assessments, BREEAM ecology reports and protected species work
BNG calculations using the Statutory Biodiversity Metric
UKHab, PEA and bat surveys
Biodiversity mapping using QGIS
Technical report writing and QA
Client and stakeholder management
Training and mentoring junior colleagues
Supporting wider nature and sustainability projects

We're looking for someone with:

Strong ecology/biodiversity consultancy experience
A relevant scientific degree
Good knowledge of BNG and the Statutory Biodiversity Metric
Proficiency in QGIS
Experience with PEAs, BNG and BREEAM ecology assessments
Bat survey and protected species experience
Strong report writing and project management skills
A genuine interest in delivering positive outcomes for nature
