Coordinator - ELPD

The post sits in the Parkinson's disease group at the Centre for Preventive Neurology, Wolfson Institute of Population Health, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The holder coordinates administration for Parkinson's research in East London, including the East London Project and recruitment to PPMI and other studies. The role has a particular focus on diversity, equity and inclusion among East London patient communities.

Fit depends on a degree or equivalent, project coordination experience and prior work within multidisciplinary teams.

• Coordinate administrative duties within the Parkinson's research effort in East London
• Coordinate the East London Project (ELPD)
• Lead work focused on diversity, equity and inclusion in Parkinson's research
• Recruit participants to PPMI and other observational and interventional studies for East London patient communities

• Degree-level education or equivalent in a relevant subject

• Sound experience coordinating and managing projects
• Working within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, researchers and patient or public groups

• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice

• Knowledge of Parkinson's disease or other neurodegenerative disorders
