We are seeking a skilled Plumber Technician to join our team. This role involves carrying out both routine and non-routine work activities, including new works, repairs, and routine planned maintenance on mechanical and heating systems, as well as hot and cold water plant, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate will be experienced in various mechanical services, self-motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Day-to-day of the role:

Carry out new works, repairs, and routine planned maintenance activities to mechanical and heating systems, as well as hot and cold water plant, equipment, and services.
Perform reactive work requests, minor new installation requests, and weekly planned preventative maintenance efficiently.
Escort contractors during inspections and installations.
Strictly adhere to relevant policies and procedures, maintain tool lists, and comply with Health and Safety and Security Regulations.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Minimum NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical services.
Specialisation in a mechanical service (e.g., Gas, refrigeration, heat pumps).
Water safety training.

Experience with all types of mechanical, ventilation, or gas installations and maintenance.
Previous experience working within an NHS environment is advantageous.
Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Own tools & PPE.
Computer literate.
Current driving license (manual).
Ability to interact at all levels and adapt to flexible work requirements.
