Electrician

Position: Electrician (Permanent)
OHUK are looking for an Electrician to work on a permanent basis for an Electrical Sub contractor who work within the commercial fit out sector.

The sites you will be working on are based throughout central London:

Duties / Requirements:

* Carry out the installation, servicing, and repair of electrical systems in accordance with project requirements and recognised industry standards.

* Install and terminate containment systems such as tray, basket, conduit, and trunking to a professional standard.

* Set up, commission, and maintain DALI lighting control systems.

* Install and connect mains distribution equipment, including LV switch gear, distribution boards, and submain cabling.

* Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and written instructions.

* Undertake testing, inspection, and certification in line with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

* Deliver all work safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high quality.

* Communicate and coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades on-site.

* Keep tools, equipment, and PPE properly maintained and in good working order.

* Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Essential:

* JIB gold card

* 18th edition

* Testing knowledge / qualifications beneficial

* Previous experience working on CAT A / B office fit out projects
