Employment Type: Full Time – 40 hours per week (includes some weekend, evening and bank holiday work)

Salary: £38,800 – £42,950 (salary depends on experience) plus a £3,000 guaranteed bonus in the first year.

At Home Serve we put the customers' experience at the forefront of everything we do. As a Plumbing Engineer you will undertake the maintenance and repair work of plumbing systems in our customers' homes, providing industry‑leading service, enhancing our reputation, and driving customer growth.

• Diagnose and perform 1st and 2nd fix plumbing work in domestic housing.
• Maintain plumbing, drainage and heating systems ensuring safety and compliance.
• Engage with customers to explain work required, answer questions and provide advice on plumbing solutions.

• Level 2 in Plumbing with copies of certificates on successful application.
• Experience with 1st and 2nd fix plumbing.
• Experience working as a plumber in domestic housing.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proactive, "can do" attitude.
• Keen eye for detail and strong problem‑solving skills.

• Week 1 – Attend our Head Office in Walsall Monday‑Friday; cover Home Serve, health & safety, and receive tools and equipment.
• Week 2 – Buddy with an experienced Home Serve Plumbing Engineer.
• Accommodation and meal allowance for induction where appropriate.
