This is a hands-on role, providing variety across multiple disciplines, including HVAC, fire alarms, BMS (Trend), LV systems, and gas installations. You will also support apprentices and trainees, making it an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy sharing knowledge and developing skills in others.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and remedial works on mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems Maintain, repair, and modify plant, building services, and equipment Diagnose faults and resolve technical issues efficiently Service and maintain gas installations safely and in line with regulations Operate, maintain, and interrogate BMS (Trend), LV systems, and fire alarms Produce clear technical reports, certification, and documentation Respond promptly to customer queries and provide expert advice Liaise professionally with site management, clients, and contractors Support and mentor apprentices and trainees, sharing knowledge and best practices What We're Looking For Right to work in the UK 18th Edition Electrical qualification Strong knowledge and experience in mechanical services, HVAC, fire alarms, BMS (Trend), and LV systems Proven experience servicing and fault-finding gas installations Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Flexible, proactive, and customer-focused with a 'can-do' attitude High standards of professionalism, honesty, and integrity Strong written and verbal communication skills Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel Who This Job is Good For Experienced multi-skilled engineers looking for a structured Monday-Friday role with clear responsibilities Engineers who enjoy variety in technical work across multiple systems Professionals who want to develop and mentor apprentices or trainees Those who value working in a professional, compliant environment and delivering quality results
