Flat Entrance Door Carpenter (Fire Team)
Location:
London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £39,706.50 per annum
Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (40 hours per week)
Contract:
2 Permanent Positions and 3 x 12-Month Fixed Term Contracts
Company van (business use), fuel card, uniform and PPE provided.
We are currently recruiting experienced Fire Door Carpenters to join a dedicated Fire Safety Team covering London and the outskirts.
This is a mobile role with your working day starting from home. You will attend the Sidcup office twice per month.
The Role:- Fire door inspections and maintenance
- Hanging fire doors and fire door sets
- Minor repairs and frame adjustments
- Second-fix carpentry works
- Working in occupied residential properties
- Recording works accurately via PDA
- Proven experience with fire door installation and maintenance
- Strong second-fix carpentry background
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising with service)
