Van Mobile M&E Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Buildings – London – Up to £48,000 per annum + Package

Exciting opportunity to join a well‑established FM service provider delivering maintenance services across commercial buildings in London. CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Van Mobile M&E Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a commercial contract, covering key sites throughout London and one site in Southampton. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities and commercial building maintenance, with a proven track record in a similar mobile role.

Hours of Work & Package
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00 am – 17:00 pm
  • 26 Days Holidays + Bank Holidays

Key

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance in line with SLA requirements
  • Conduct fault finding, plant adjustments, and inspections of electrical and mechanical services, plant, and systems
  • Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with contract specifications
  • Maintain and update logbooks and site documentation
  • Ensure all allocated tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner
  • Proactively identify and report faults with building services equipment and take corrective action
  • Ensure all Health & Safety issues are reported and escalated as required
  • Maintain good working relationships with client staff regarding service levels and site issues
  • Report service‑affecting issues to site management for formal client communication
  • Remain fully compliant with relevant Health & Safety and legislative requirements
Requirements
  • Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3
  • OR
  • Mechanically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2
  • 18th Edition (City & Guilds)
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi‑skilled M&E background
  • Strong communication skills
  • Client‑facing experience
  • Previous experience as a Building Services Engineer
  • Ability to work independently to a high standard
