Job Description – Mobile Repair Technician
Position: Mobile Repair Technician
Department: Technical / Service Center
Location: Unit 1 Freehold Industrial Centre, Amberley Way, Hounslow, TW4 6BX

4 - 6 years (Mobile hardware repair experience preferred)
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile Repair Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and replacing mobile phone components, along with the ability to follow safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough diagnostic checks to identify hardware and software issues.
- Inspect battery, charging ports, internal components, and device performance.
- Prepare a clear report of findings and repair requirements.
- Replace or repair mobile components such as screens, back covers, speakers, microphones, batteries, and internal boards.
- Back Cover Replacement:
- Remove damaged back cover safely.
- Install and align the new back cover properly using approved tools and adhesive materials.
- Battery & Battery Cell Handling:
- Diagnose battery health issues.
- Safely remove swollen or damaged batteries.
- Install new battery cells securely while following safety guidelines.
- Ensure all internal components are properly aligned and fixed after repair.
- Secure and tighten screws, clips, and frames correctly.
- Reassemble devices with precision to maintain original quality and durability.
- Perform post-repair testing to ensure the device functions correctly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, accuracy, and workmanship in every repair.
- Maintain repair logs and update job cards accurately.
- Communicate repair status, issues, and completion timelines when required.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are handled safely and responsibly.
- Proven experience in mobile repairing or technical support (hardware).
- Knowledge of repairing different brands and models.
- Strong understanding of mobile components and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Professional, polite, and customer‑focused attitude.
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new repair techniques.
