Maintenance Electrician – Facilities Maintenance Team
Location:
Isleworth, West London
Salary:
Competitive + Excellent Benefits
Contract:
Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00)
About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our busy Facilities Maintenance Team. In this key role, you’ll provide essential technical engineering support, ensuring our building services operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks and completing all relevant documentation.
* Responding promptly to reactive and emergency faults, ensuring service delivery meets KPIs.
* Managing subcontractors on-site, working within safe systems and permit-to-work processes.
* Undertaking Authorised Person (AP) or Responsible Person (RP) duties as required.
* Participating in the out-of-hours on-call rota, with the ability to attend site within one hour of being called.
About You
You’ll be an experienced and proactive electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work in a professional environment.
Essential skills and experience:
* Recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or Level 3 qualification (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical discipline.
* Proven experience in building services maintenance.
* Strong understanding of health & safety best practice (formal training desirable).
* IT literate, with good planning, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* A positive, flexible attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative.
Desirable:
* Authorised Person (AP) in High Voltage (HV).
* Experience working within a healthcare or similar critical environment.
