We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work safely and efficiently. The ideal applicant will have hands-on experience with electrical systems and be proficient with hand tools and power tools.

Duties

* Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial or industrial settings

* Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs promptly to minimise downtime

* Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately

* Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes

* Use hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws

* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or faults

* Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks efficiently

* Document work performed and report on progress or issues encountered during projects

Requirements

* Proven experience as an Electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols

* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to electrical work

* Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics

* Valid electrician’s licence or certification as required by local regulations

* Strong problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

* Good organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively
