• Apprentices will be recruited for the 2025/26 Apprenticeship to complete the Highways and Maintenance Apprenticeship with SQS.
• The scheme lasts a minimum of 1 year and 1 week.
• Initial training programme: 3 weeks at our London depot.
• On‑the‑job training: 80% on the job at one of our designated depots, 20% off the job at our London depot.
• On‑the‑job tasks include working with bituminous materials, paved surfaces, back‑fill and spoil removal within our highways reinstatement teams.
• Fixed‑term basis; duration depends on course completion, at least 1 year and 1 week.
• Successful apprentices may be considered for a full‑time established role.

• Minimum age 18 due to Health and Safety restrictions.
• Full driving licence held for at least a year and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, growing business with a positive attitude.
