We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer with a plumbing bias to join a well-established Facilities Management provider operating across a predominantly commercial property portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified plumber who has transitioned into a building services maintenance environment and is confident working across commercial properties.

London & M25 Corridor
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Paid Travel + Overtime

The Role

This is a mobile position covering London and the surrounding areas within and around the M25.

You’ll be responsible for a mix of:

* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Reactive repairs

* Compliance & statutory testing

* Minor mechanical works

Key Responsibilities

Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fixtures, drainage and water supply systems

Diagnose faults such as leaks, blockages and system failures, providing efficient, long-lasting solutions

Work on hot and cold water systems, pumps, valves and general mechanical plant room equipment

Carry out compliance tasks including:

Read and interpret technical drawings and building plans

Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety standards

Work collaboratively with other engineers and trades across commercial sites

What We’re Looking For

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent experience)

Experience working within a commercial maintenance or FM environments

Confident carrying out both plumbing and general building services maintenance

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Professional communication skills when dealing with clients and site contacts

Experience working in plant rooms and mechanical building services

Reliable, proactive and self-motivated

Full UK driving licence
