Our client is a leading power contractor delivering major electrical network projects across the South East. With continued growth, they are expanding the delivery teams and seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to support works within substations and electrical distribution environments.

Commercial Electrician Key Essentials:

* As a Commercial Electrician, you will be operating within substations and electrical network installations, supporting installation, maintenance and commissioning activities

* Installation of metal containment systems including ladder rack, cable tray, trunking and conduit within new and existing substations, in line with DNO and project specifications

* Pulling, dressing, glanding and terminating SWA cables across a range of sizes

* Installation and termination of LV distribution equipment including panels and distribution boards

* Installation and connection of secondary electrical equipment including lighting, sockets, isolators and control systems

* Supporting inspection, testing and commissioning activities

* Diagnosing faults and assisting with repair works on electrical plant and associated equipment

* Working closely with Engineers, Supervisors and teams to ensure works are delivered safely and in line with programme deadlines

* Completing site documentation, certification and asset records accurately

* Maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards at all times

Commercial Electrician Requirements:

* Time-served Commercial Electrician with experience in commercial or industrial environments (power distribution, rail or heavy engineering advantageous)

* Qualified with Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and ECS Gold Card

* Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
