Our client is a leading UK maintenance provider within the outdoor advertising industry, specialising in large-format LED and digital displays nationwide. Due to continued growth and project expansion, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team across London and the South.

The Role

This is a field-based service & maintenance position focused on digital advertising displays.

You'll be responsible for:

Responding to faults within agreed SLAs (4hr / 12hr / 72hr response)
Diagnosing and repairing LED display & electrical faults
Replacing electrical components and minimising downtime
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Cleaning and inspecting display structures and internal components
Conducting basic grounds maintenance where required
Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures
Managing van stock and spare parts efficiently
Producing service reports using basic IT systems (Excel, Outlook, Word)
This role will involve working at height and occasional night or weekend shifts as part of a rota.

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with engineers who have experience in one or more of the following:

AV Installation / Service Engineering
Digital Signage or LED Display Maintenance
Electrical Maintenance (ideally outdoor environments)
Video Walls / Large Format Displays
Field Service Engineering
IT / Network Cabling (beneficial)
You should also have:

Strong fault-finding ability (electrical / hardware)
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently in the field
A proactive and organised approach
Full, clean UK driving licence
Comfortable working at height
Basic IT literacy for reporting

This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on engineering work and wants long-term stability rather than rapid progression into management.

Additional Responsibilities

Monitor site-specific stock levels
Submit stock reports and reorder requests
Coordinate returns of faulty parts to manufacturers or head office
Maintain organised vehicle stock

Working Pattern

Day & occasional night shifts (project dependent)
Weekend rota participation
