Multi Disciplined Engineer (V338) –

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled engineer to join our growing team in the South. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to broaden their expertise across fire and security systems, including Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV, Fire Alarms, and Networking. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, self-motivated, and committed to delivering a high standard of service.

Ongoing training will be provided to support your professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • The service and maintenance of Fire Alarm systems, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, CCTV and networking.
  • Ensure client satisfaction before leaving site by consistently delivering a high standard of workmanship and service.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation, including timesheets and job reports, using the company's service management system.
  • Deliver outstanding premium service to customers at all times.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety procedures, policies, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in the company's out of hours callout rota.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm Systems.
  • Knowledge of networking and PABX systems is advantageous.
  • Gent approved engineer status is desirable (training provided if not certified).
  • FIA Maintainer qualification desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance and repair of the relevant systems.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Ability to remain effective under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexibility required).

Salary

£38,000 – £42,000 basic plus overtime (dependent on skills, experience, and qualifications).
