Shift Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical)
Location:
Camberwell, London
Job Type: Temp to perm – Immediate start
Hourly Rate: up to £27p/h
- Continental shift pattern
- Days and nights
- 4's and 6's shift pattern
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (small installations, fault‑finding, lamping, etc.)
- Emergency lighting tests
- AHU/FCU (filter changes, etc.)
- Control panels
- Changing ballast
- BMS system monitoring (hot & cold)
- Carry out all aspects of M&E/fabric maintenance
- Maintain and update log books
- Plumbing – unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Electrically, mechanically and plumbing qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 (17/18th edition for electrical)
- Proof of trade certificates required
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi‑skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client facing
- Immediately available or able to start on short notice
