We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Testing Engineer (Electrician) to join our growing field-based team. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical services across a variety of sites nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who takes pride in their work, values compliance and safety, and is keen to develop their skills within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Duties Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures Carry out inspection and testing in line with industry standards (including NICEIC where applicable) Support fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs using appropriate tools and equipment Ensure all work is completed to a right first time standard Identify hazards, defects, and necessary remedial actions in compliance with regulations Assist with small works, installations, and ongoing maintenance tasks Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to project timelines Health & Safety Follow all company policies, particularly in relation to health & safety Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times Contribute to risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) where required Administration & Operations Manage your own workload effectively while on site Complete all required reports and documentation accurately and on time Communicate progress updates to operational and administrative teams Ensure company equipment is used, stored, and maintained correctly Maintain appropriate stock levels in your vehicle Customer Service Provide a professional and responsive service to clients Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams Handle on-site queries in a professional manner Maintain strong timekeeping and reliability Build positive relationships to support repeat business
What Were Looking For :
Qualified Electrician with experience in testing and inspection Strong understanding of electrical regulations and compliance standards Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills Strong organisational and communication skills Flexible, proactive, and willing to learn Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel) Personal Attributes Professional and positive attitude at all times Reliable, hardworking, and forward-thinking Committed to delivering high-quality work Willingness to develop skills and undertake further training
