Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Mobile – Temp ongoing – FM Service Provider – South and North London sites

Duties & Responsibilities

Lighting (Small installation, Fault‑finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
Emergency lighting
Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
Chillers – Reset
Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
Plumbing – Unblocking toilets
Pumps, motors
Water Treatment
BMS System – Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
UPS Systems – Monitor / Take readings

Contract Details

Monday – Friday
8am – 5pm
Must be available to start on the 27/05 or 28/05 for a handover
Up to £27p/h
Covering 6 residential sites – 3 in South London (Camberwell / Clapham) and 3 in North London (Finchley / Finsbury Park)
Van included (must have a valid driver’s licence with no more than 6 points due to insurance reasons)

Requirements

Mechanically / Plumbing qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 etc
Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
A proven track record in commercial / residential building maintenance
Good communication skills
Client facing
Valid DBS certificate
