Shifts:
Monday to Friday, 40 hour week (Temp to Perm) Pay Rate: £20.28 - £22.00 To complete electrical installations and ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspection, testing, fault finding, and maintenance of electrical systems within modular accommodation units. In addition, they will support day-to-day electrical work on cabins and ensure all systems are operational and maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installations, alterations, and modifications in new and existing modular units. Perform inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems to ensure compliance with current regulations. Diagnose and rectify electrical faults efficiently and safely. Assist in the preparation and refurbishment of units prior to rental or sale. Ensure all electrical work complies with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and company standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems within cabins and modular buildings. Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and completed works. Directly supervise Electrical Labourers and provide guidance on safe working practices. Adhere to all health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment. Skills and Experience Proven experience in electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance. Strong knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff is desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Essential Qualifications Completed a recognised Electrical Qualification / Apprenticeship. JIB/ECS Gold Card. City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
AM2 qualification. Personal Attributes Reliable and self-motivated. Strong communication and organisational skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service.
