MET Technician – Brand New Bodyshop

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 base

Our client focuses on quality repairs and seeks an experienced MET Technician to join a leading accident repair team. The role requires proficiency in panel repairs for accident damaged vehicles and a commitment to high standards.

• Remove and refit mechanical and electrical trims, panels and components on vehicles.
• Carry out stripping and rebuilding work in a professional manner and perform final quality checks in line with applicable standards.
• Dismantle vehicles in preparation for the panel area.
• Inspect, fault find and diagnose vehicle issues.
• Order replacement parts as needed.
• Re‑assemble vehicles with new parts to restore pre‑accident condition.
• Strip and fit components, bodywork and trim elements.
• Complete all MET duties within your remit.
• Follow manufacturer repair methods to return vehicles to pre‑accident condition.
• Ensure jobs are completed within estimated times.

• ATA MET Technician, Mechanic or Strip Fitter.
• Experience in panel repairs to accident damaged vehicles.
• ATA, NVQ2/3 or IMI2/3 qualifications are a distinct advantage.
