Fabric Engineer - Commercial FM  London  Temp to Perm Rate: £22 per hour Perm salary:
Up to £36,000  Mon–Fri We are recruiting on behalf of a leading FM service provider for an experienced Fabric Engineer to join a high-profile commercial contract based at a single, busy site in London. This is a 5-month temporary contract starting ASAP, with an opportunity to become a permanent position on completion - offering a salary of up to £36,000.

THE ROLE As a Fabric Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance across a prestige commercial building. You will work as part of a professional FM team, delivering a high standard of fabric works across a demanding and fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Carpentry — door handles, door furniture, and general joinery repairs
- Painting and decorating to a commercial standard
- Carpet tile replacement and floor maintenance
- Tiling and general hard surface repairs
- Lighting checks and basic lamp replacements
- Supporting office moves and internal churn works WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR The ideal Fabric Engineer will have a background in multi-skilled trades with proven experience in a commercial FM or office environment. You should be comfortable working independently on a single-site contract, managing your own workload and liaising professionally with the client on a daily basis.

- Demonstrable experience as a Fabric Engineer or similar multi-skilled maintenance role
- Strong carpentry and painting/decorating skills essential

- Experience of working within a commercial or corporate FM environment
- Professional presentation and excellent communication skills
